The Chance

We're looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to step into a technical leadership role within our business. You'll take ownership of complex projects, set the technical direction for our geotechnical work, and play a key role in mentoring our engineers as they continue to grow. This is a genuine opportunity to shape the technical backbone of a growing consultancy.

What You'll Be Doing
n

Act as technical lead across our geotechnical projects, setting and upholding technical standards
n
Lead and deliver geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design
n
Conduct site inspections and manage field programs
n
Prepare and review high-quality technical reports and documentation
n
Collaborate with clients to understand project goals and provide clear, practical advice
n




Contribute to business development and help strengthen client relationships
n
Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
n
8+ years' relevant experience in geotechnical consulting or engineering
n
NER (National Engineering Register) certification, or eligibility to obtain NER certification in short term
n
Strong technical capability in soil/rock mechanics, foundation design, and slope stability
n
Proven experience in project management and client engagement
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
A proactive attitude and genuine passion for practical, real-world engineering
n
