About the role
n
Reporting to the State Manager, Resort Operations, you'll lead the Grounds & Facilities function across a portfolio of Sunshine Coast resorts, supporting local teams while ensuring our communities continue to be presented to the exceptional standard GemLife is known for.
n
You'll play a key role in developing and supporting Grounds & Facilities teams, overseeing contractor performance, delivering improvement projects and ensuring our resorts remain safe, compliant and beautifully maintained for homeowners and visitors alike.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead, coach and support Grounds & Facilities teams across multiple Sunshine Coast resorts
n
Drive a positive, safety-focused and high-performing team culture
n
Ensure resort grounds, facilities and community assets are maintained to GemLife standards
n
Manage capital works,



refurbishment projects and site improvement initiatives
n
Build strong relationships with homeowners, contractors and internal stakeholders
n
Oversee contractor engagement, performance and compliance across the region
n
Monitor budgets, resources and operational priorities across multiple sites
n
Support operational continuity and provide leadership across resorts when required
n
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficienciesEnsure all activities align with WHS requirements and company standards
n

To be successful you'll have
n
n
Leadership experience within facilities management, property operations, grounds maintenance or a similar environment
n
Proven experience leading and developing teams across multiple locations
n
Strong contractor management and project delivery capability
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
n
Experience managing budgets, resources and competing priorities
n
A hands-on leadership style and a genuine passion for creating exceptional environments
