About Us: We are an online-based tutoring company specializing in one-on-one personalized virtual teaching, with over 300 teachers registered. Our comprehensive range of programs includes Year ***** exam preparation for HSC, VCE, WACE, QCE, and SACE, Year 1-10 English Writing and Reading, Maths, Sciences, Scholarship and Selective Entry school exams.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and highly experienced teachers to join us as Year 9-12 English teachers across the following Australian senior secondary curricula
n
Year 1 to 8 English tutors are also welcomed!
n
Our students include Australia born students with English as their first language or as their additional language (EAL), as well as international students from China.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Provide one-on-one online sessions to students.
n
Assist students with understanding subject material, homework and exam preparation.
n
Follow customized lesson plans to meet individual student needs.
n
Track and report student progress.
n
Offer motivational support and academic guidance.
n
We now also offer opportunities for in-person sessions at student homes or libraries.
n

Requirements
n
n
A degree in teaching AND OR currently teaching at a local high school is highly advantageous.
n
Has strong exam-preparation skills and is familiar with the current
VCE/HSC/QCE/WACE/SACE
syllabus as well as assessment structures.
n




Strong knowledge and expertise in English and Literature.
n
Reliability with a consistent schedule and commitment to skilled teaching.
n
Stable Internet connection and great with technology.
n
Flexibility in hours, location, and time commitment.
n
Ongoing, long-term students with regular weekly schedules rather than term-based enrolments.

Salary/Payment
n
n
On-time payments from $30 to $50 per hour, commensurate with the following combined factors:
n
The number of years of teaching experience the teacher has had.
n
Whether the teacher has classroom experience in Australian day schools.
n
The teacher's expertise with Year 12 final exams and internal assessments.
n
Range of subjects the teacher is confident and qualified to teach.
n
Friendly and disciplined students.
n

Ongoing support and training.
n
Valuable resume-building and teaching experience.

We provide tailored Learning Materials and Student Learning Plans.

Our Teaching Assistants manage lesson scheduling and parent communication for you.
n
Our Teaching Assistants can help with marking student homework with Answer keys.

Our Learning Coordinator communicates with parents about student progress and study plans.
