Liquid Personnel is recruiting Team Manager for its clients Children in Care & Care Leavers Team at Newcastle.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting children in care and young people transitioning into adulthood, ensuring positive outcomes and high-quality practice across the service.
What will your responsibilities be?
Managing and supporting a team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors
Providing effective leadership, supervision, and performance management
Overseeing assessments, care planning, and pathway planning
Ensuring statutory responsibilities and timescales are met
Supporting children in care and care leavers to achieve positive outcomes
Driving high standards of safeguarding and practice quality
Working closely with partner agencies and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Previous management or supervisory experience within Children's Services
Strong knowledge of Children in Care and Care Leavers legislation and practice
Experience managing performance and supporting practitioner development
Ability to lead and motivate teams in a rapid-paced environment
