These are site-based roles, suited to individuals who thrive in fast‐paced industrial environments and take pride in delivering quality workmanship. You will work across Gladstone-based projects as well as site-away work on a FIFO/DIDO basis, playing an integral role in the successful delivery of our industrial operations.

Takwood Industrial Services is seeking skilled tradespeople — Sheet Metal Workers, & Laggers — to join our team across maintenance, shutdowns, and project work.
n
These are site-based roles, suited to individuals who thrive in fast‐paced industrial environments and take pride in delivering quality workmanship. You will work across Gladstone-based projects as well as site-away work on a FIFO/DIDO basis, playing an integral role in the successful delivery of our industrial operations.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Fabricating, installing, and maintaining sheet metal components including ductwork, piping, and tanks
n
Applying insulation materials (lagging) to equipment and pipework for thermal, acoustic, and fire protection
n
Working collaboratively with project managers and other trades to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of work
n
Maintaining a safe, tidy, and organised work environment in line with site and company safety systems
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n




Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Workers, and Laggers, ideally within the heavy industrial sector
n
Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
n
High attention to detail, strong problem‐solving skills, and excellent hand‐eye coordination
n
A strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
Relevant trade qualifications and tickets, such as:n
n
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
n
White Card
n
Working at Heights
n
EWP(desirable)
n
Forklift (desirable)
n
n
