Strong expertise in SQLand Python(or similar programming languages).

Deep experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Azure Synapse.

Advanced knowledge of DataModelingand Data Warehousing (DWH)concepts

Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Fabricecosystem.

Robust understanding of cloud data architecture and enterprise-scale solutions.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and own end-to-end data platform delivery, including design, build, and optimization of scalable data solutions on Azure. (derived from pipeline & engineering responsibilities)
n
Architect and govern data pipelines, data models, and enterprise data platformsusing Azure services.
n
Provide technical leadershipto data engineers, reviewing code, enforcing best practices, and ensuring quality delivery.
n
Drive development of APIs, Azure Functions, and Python-based solutionsaligned with business needs.
n
Oversee cloud infrastructure managementand ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
n
Define and implement data governance, data quality, and security standards.
n




Establish and drive CI/CD, DevOps practices, and agile delivery frameworksacross the data platform.
n
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable solutions and roadmaps.
n
Mentor team members and build capability within the data engineering team.
n

Experience
n
n
8+ yearsof experience in data engineering, with 2–4 years in a leadership role
n
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teamsand deliver complex data programs.
n
n
Preferred Skills
n
n
Experience in building enterprise APIs and Azure Function Apps.
n
Exposure to framework-based development (proc frameworks or similar).
n
Experience in stakeholder management, solution architecture, and delivery governance.
n
Strong ownership mindsetwith ability to drive outcomes
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to balance technical depth with delivery leadership
