Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer for a contract opportunity with one of our clients.
n
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to oversee the delivery of electrical and electronic infrastructure projects across planning, design, procurement, installation, contract management, commissioning and asset management.
n
The role will be required to be on-site on the Central Coast, NSW.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support the delivery of a diverse range of electrical infrastructure projects.
n
Undertake project feasibility, estimates, investigations and design services.
n
Support tendering, contract management, contractor and consultant management, project handover and defects liability.
n
Develop project plans, work breakdown structures and resource requirements.
n
Provide technical engineering advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
n
Review and update electrical and technical specifications, incorporating lessons learned and improvements.
n
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
n
Supervise contractors and internal resources as required.
n
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, electrical regulations, standards and environmental requirements.
n

About You
n
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong project delivery skills and a practical understanding of electrical infrastructure systems.
n
n
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with relevant project engineering experience.
n
Qualified Supervisors Certificate (Electrical) in accordance with NSW Fair Trading requirements.
n
Current Class C Driver Licence.
n
Current NSW SafeWork Construction General Induction Card (White Card) or equivalent.
n
Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders.
n
Solid knowledge of electrical technology, including HV/LV power distribution, motors, controls, instrumentation, floodlighting and basic
telecommunications.
n
Sound knowledge of electrical regulations, standards, legislation and environmental requirements.
n
Post-graduate qualifications in contract, project management or a related discipline.
n
