Approach Consulting is seeking EOIs for upcoming commercial finance roles.

Working into Defence, you'll be leading complex procurement activities and managing high-value contracts across the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle, providing commercial and finance expertise that shapes outcomes at a strategic level.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Leading development of procurement strategies, RFT documentation, tender evaluation plans and evaluation reports across complex acquisition and sustainment programs
n
Building Commonwealth approval submissions and managing the procurement schedule end-to-end
n
Managing ASDEFCON contracts — processing contract changes, reviewing deliverables, managing contractor performance and developing contract management plans
n
Supporting negotiations with prime contractors
n
Providing senior-level commercial and finance advice to delegates and stakeholders
n
Identifying and managing commercial and finance risk
n
Assuring compliance with procurement policy
n
Preparing internal briefs, approval submissions and reports
n

What you'll bring:
n

Significant experience in Commonwealth procurement and contract management at a senior level — ASDEFCON experience highly regarded
n
Solid understanding of tendering, evaluation and contract administration processes
n
Confidence advising senior delegates and stakeholders on complex commercial matters
n
Sound judgement on commercial and finance risk
n
Excellent written skills
n
Current Australian Defence security clearance required (or ability to obtain one)
