Mechanical Supervisor (FPSO) – Equatorial Guinea

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a high-performing offshore team based in Equatorial Guinea. This role is ideal for a strong leader with extensive mechanical maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry and a proven track record working on FPSO assets.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and supervise a team of mechanical technicians, contractors, and specialists.
n
Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures.
n
Plan, coordinate, and oversee routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance.
n
Manage the maintenance and repair of critical rotating and static equipment.
n
Support condition monitoring activities and fault diagnosis to maximise equipment reliability.
n
Ensure compliance with permit-to-work (PTW), risk assessment, and safety management systems.
n
Drive team performance, competency development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n




Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work is completed to high technical standards.
n
Contribute to emergency response activities and offshore safety programmes.
n

Requirements
n
n
HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred
n
Minimum 5 years offshore experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role
n
Previous FPSO experience is
essential/desirable
n
n
Strong experience with:
n
n
Oil pumps
n
Gas compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal)
n
Water injection pumps
n
Power generation equipment
n
Utility systems
n
Rotating equipment and machinery maintenance
n
Solid understanding of PTW systems and risk assessment methodologies
n
Solid leadership, communication, and team management skills
n
Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications
n
Fluent English communication skills
n
