Carpenter / Site Supervisor: Residential Builds & Extensions

Are you a carpenter who's over the chaos and knows how a site should run?

We're hiring for a well-run, growing residential builder ,extensions and new homes , who need a supervisor to keep their sites tight, their trades sorted, and their jobs moving.

About the role
n
This is hands-on. You're on the tools and running the site.
n
You'll run a crew of 4. You read the plans, you know what's happening this week and next, your team turns up knowing what they're doing, and the trades aren't standing around waiting. When something comes up — and it always does — you sort it early instead of letting it blow out the program.
n
The buck stops with you: program, quality, safety, budget. If you're the one on your current crew that everyone already goes to when the leading hand's off — this is your step up.

What you'll be doing
n

Running the site day-to-day — program, trades, materials, safety
n
Reading plans and specs,



and making sure your crew builds what's on them
n
Keeping the client, the boss and your team in the loop — no surprises
n
Spotting problems before they cost time and money
n
Bringing the apprentices along — teach them right the first time
n
n
What you'll need
n
n
Cert III in Carpentry and 5+ years on residential jobs
n
Solid understanding of build sequence — you know what has to happen before what
n
Can read and interpret plans and specs properly
n
Calm under pressure, turns up with solutions not excuses
n
Can handle the basics on a phone/laptop — job software, emails, site records
n
n
