Join the team at JD Built Byron Bay Pty Ltd for an exciting prospect to be part of a high-quality residential construction project in Crescent Head, commencing September ****. We are seeking a leading hand carpenter to head up a team for a 12 month period.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Construct and install various timber structures including walls, floors, roofs, doors, and windows
n
Fabricate, install and finish custom cabinetry and joinery
n
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate work
n
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
n
Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
n
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Formal carpentry qualification such as a Certificate III in Carpentry
n
Demonstrated experience as a carpenter, ideally in the construction or cabinet making industries
n




Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
Strong time management and organisational skills
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
n
You will also need
n
n
A valid driver's license and your own Ute or Van (complete with tools).
n
A Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
n
Insurance
n
Valid Contractor Licence
n
A proactive and reliable approach to work.
