Female Disability Support Worker - Part time

We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker to provide personal care and support to a participant who uses a wheelchair full-time.
n
Tuesday: 2 hours
n
Friday: 8 hours
n
Potential for additional hours in the future
n
About the role:
n
The successful applicant will be required to assist with:
n
n
Manual handling and safe transfers
n
Showering and personal hygiene
n
Changing continence aids/nappies
n
Feeding and mealtime assistance
n
Getting dressed and other personal care tasks
n
General daily living support
n
Ensuring the participant's comfort, dignity and safety
n
n
About you:
n
n
Female support worker preferred
n




Previous disability support experience
n
Must be confident and experienced with manual handling
n
Experience supporting someone who is fully wheelchair-dependent
n
Comfortable providing personal care, including showering and continence care
n
Patient, caring, reliable and respectful
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant
checks/certificates
preferred
n
First Aid/CPR preferred
n
This role would suit someone who is compassionate, dependable and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
