Bring your people leadership and planning skills to Cascade, leading a production team and supporting safe, efficient brewing operations.

We're looking for a people-focused Brewing Team Leader to lead our brewing and beverages operations at our Cascade Brewery in SouthHobart.
n
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll translate production requirements into practical daily and weekly plans, coordinate people and resources, and ensure operations run safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
n
You'll maintain a visible presence across the operation, support your team to perform at their best and collaborate with stakeholders across production, planning, maintenance, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
n

Develop and execute daily and weekly production plans
n
Lead the safe and efficient production of beer, cider and vinegar
n
Coordinate people and resources to meet operational requirements
n
Monitor performance and proactively address production issues
n
Lead shift meetings and contribute to daily planning forums
n
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, hygiene and compliance
n
Provide clear direction, coaching and development to team members
n
Manage performance and workplace matters in partnership with HR
n
Support process improvements and operational change
n
Coordinate planned and breakdown maintenance activities
n

About You
n
You're a people-focused leader who can provide clear direction, build strong relationships and navigate the challenges of a busy production workplace.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
People leadership experience ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, food and beverage production or a similar operational environment
n
Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
n
Confidence managing performance, promoting accountability and addressing challenges proactively
n
Resilience and adaptability when navigating change and competing priorities
n
Confidence using Excel and other computer systemsBrewing, winemaking, beverage production or liquid-processing experience would be advantageous
n
An engineering, food science or IBD qualification would be beneficial but not essential
n
