Job Description
As a Graduate Occupational Therapist at WHPH OT & Wellbeing, you will work alongside experienced clinicians to support NDIS participants across the age range living with intellectual, developmental and psychosocial disability.
n
Through a structured supervision and mentoring program, you will develop skills in assessment, intervention planning, report writing and person-centred therapy delivery.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments under the guidance of experienced clinicians.
n
Support clients to improve independence, wellbeing and participation in meaningful daily activities.
n
Develop and implement therapy plans that align with participant goals.
n
Complete Functional Capacity Assessments and contribute to NDIS reports and reviews.
n
Deliver interventions that support skill development, emotional wellbeing and community participation.
n
Facilitate individual and group-based therapeutic programs where appropriate.
n
Provide services in clinic, home, community and telehealth settings.
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
n
Participate in regular supervision, team meetings and career development activities.
n
Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous service improvement.
n

Desirable Qualities and Attributes:

Interest in working with paediatric, psychosocial, intellectual and/or developmental disability populations.
n
An awareness of the NDIS and associated processes.
n
Developing assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.

Qualifications:
n
n
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
n
Current AHPRA Registration.
n
National Police Check.
n
Working with Children Check.
n
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
n
Laptop and mobile phone.
n
n
