We're currently looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance team at a mine located just outside Blackwater, QLD. About the role
n
Working within a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping our heavy mining fleet operating safely and efficiently. Your work will include preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis,



component change-outs and breakdown repairs to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
Maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment
n
Conducting scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
n
Completing major component replacements and rebuild work
n
Responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
n
Accurately completing maintenance documentation
n
Following site safety procedures and maintenance standards
n
Working collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams
n
What you'll bring
n
Australian recognised Diesel Fitter trade qualification
n
Experience maintaining heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
A commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
n
Current Queensland Driver's Licence
n
Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
n
