Job Description
n
Supervise and support the day-to-day delivery of high-quality clinical care under the guidance of the Clinical Manager
n
Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants
n
Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and documentation in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards
n
Manage and review complex wound care and coordinate allied health referrals
n
Support the Clinical Manager in audits, quality improvement programs, and compliance activities
n
Promote excellence in infection control and clinical governance
n
Assist with staff education, onboarding, and performance support
n
Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Code of Conduct, Aged Care Quality Standards, and Charter of Rights
n
Participate in continuous improvement and clinical meetings to enhance resident outcomes
n
Work closely with the Clinical Manager to ensure the highest standards of clinical care are delivered
n

Requirements
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
n
Minimum two (2) years' experience in a senior nursing role within Residential Aged Care
n
Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
n
Gerontology Certificate / Diploma or willingness to undertake same
n
Excellent clinical assessment, leadership, and mentoring skills
n
Demonstrated ability to identify and respond to deteriorating residents
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, families, and health professionals
n
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
n
Current National Police Check
n
Valid C-Class Driver's Licence




n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work independently
n
Working knowledge of Autumn Care
n
All applicants must provide a valid national police check and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment
n
Must comply with the smoke-free workplace policy
