An excellent opportunity has become available with a highly regarded engineering design consultancy for an experienced Bridge Drafter to join their growing Melbourne team.
n
This is a permanent position suited to someone with circa5+ years of Australian bridge drafting experience who enjoys taking ownership of detailed design documentation and working closely with engineers to deliver high-quality transport infrastructure projects.
n
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in producing accurate construction documentation for bridge and transport structures, while contributing technical input throughout the design process.

The Role
n
n
Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and construction documentation for bridge and transport infrastructure projects.
n
Produce high-quality drafting packages suitable for construction.
n
Interpret engineering calculations and convert them into accurate design documentation.
n
Liaise directly with engineers to develop practical and efficient engineering solutions.
n




Work autonomously while maintaining exceptional drafting standards and attention to detail.
n
Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects within a collaborative engineering team.
n

About You
n
n
5-10 years' experience as a Bridge Draftsperson within an Australian engineering consultancy.
n
Strong AutoCAD skills with extensive experience producing detailed bridge construction drawings.
n
Demonstrated experience on road and rail bridge projects.
n
Solid understanding of engineering computations and structural detailing.
n
Able to work independently while communicating effectively with engineers and project teams.
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
n

Salary of approximately $100,000-$120,000 + Super, depending on experience.
