Kinexus is a defence-specialist recruitment agency, we are closely partnered with a defence engineering and technology consulting business delivering critical services and advice to Defence across numerous domains. This business is looking for a specialist Software Engineer to be embedded within Defence acting as the software technical SME for all things UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) software.

In this role you will:
n
n
Be the technical SME for software relating to unmanned aerial systems for Defence, working on-site within a Defence office.
n
Provide technical assurance, cyber certification and manage software integration activities across Defence UAS programs.
n
Assess technical and design packages,



techncial risk of software management.
n
Support development and review of test plans.
n
n
What's required of you:
n
n
You must be an Australian citizen holding a NV1 security clearance, candidates without this will not be considered.
n
Degree in software, electrical, avionics or another relevant engineering field.
n
Minimum of 6 years post-graduate experience in relevant employment.
n
A background or solid knowledge of UAS, aviation and defence software engineering.
