What you will need:
n
n
Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.
n
Construction Industry White Card.
n
High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging).
n




Line Worker Registration (Orange Card)
n
A current MR or HR Drivers Licence.
n
Current VESI Skills passport with up-to-date training is advantageous.
n
n
Pre-Employment Requirements:
n
Attend pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Setting up new meters and servicing existing meters to ensure accurate readings.
n
Checking meters for faults, tampering, or inefficiencies to maintain system integrity.
n
Addressing customer concerns, troubleshooting meter issues, and restoring service when required.
n
Working with network operators, technicians, and customers to ensure seamless electrical servicing.
n
Handling current connections, upgrades, and deactivations as needed.
n
Communicating effectively with customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
