Job Description
With the expansion of our hospital, including a new Emergency Department, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to join our hospital in this exciting period of growth for our new Medical/Cardiac ward on a permanentfull-time basis!

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services (Inpatients), the Nurse Unit Manager will lead the establishment and ongoing management of this new ward.
n
Key achievements in this role will include successfully building the ward with a high-performing team along with delivering safe, consistent patient-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with proven leadership skills to contribute to the delivery of outstanding patient outcomes, whilst positively impacting culture and grow their leadership abilities with Ramsay Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Be accountable for the clinical, operational and skilled leadership of the surgical and rehabilitation ward
n
Ensure the delivery of safe, high‐quality patient care and optimal clinical outcomes
n
Plan, implement and evaluate practices, processes and services in line with Ramsay Health Care standards, legislative requirements and best practice
n
n
About You:
n While leadership or management experience is desirable, this role will also suit an experienced Registered Nurse looking to step up into a leadership position.
n
You will also demonstrate:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration.
n
Experience in the Cardiology setting is highly desirable.
n
Excellent clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
n
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
n
A commitment to patient-centred care and continuous quality improvement.
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage challenging situations.
n
Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment.

Additional Information
