Job Description
About the role
n
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading a team of 20+ employees, manufacturing packaging material for flour and other bulk commodities. Working closely with the adjoining Mill, you will oversee people, machinery, quality, materials and production performance.

Monday to Friday roster, typically 7:00am - 4:00pm

Duties
n
n
Lead operators and leading hands across two production lines.
n
Monitor production output, machinery reliability & maintenance needs.
n
Coordinate inventory, purchasing and material supply using SAP.
n
Improve plant processes, reporting, productivity and waste control.
n
Set clear safety, quality and operating expectations across the plant.
n
n
Skills & experience
n
n
Supervisory or leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
n
Practical mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery.
n
Demonstrated safety leadership and proactive problem-solving skills.
n
Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.
n
