We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced and diploma qualified (or studying towards) early childhood educator to assist in the provision of a quality early childhood program at our Merri service.

We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced and diploma qualified (or studying towards) early childhood educator to assist in the provision of a quality early childhood program at our Merri service.

To be successful in this role you will need
n
Qualifications
n
n
Diploma in children's services or equivalent or evidence that the applicant is working towards obtaining.
n
Current employee working with children check
n
Current Level 2 first aid certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
n
n
Experience
n
n
Demonstrated prior experience in an early childhood setting.
n
n
Key selection criteria 1
n




Strong Communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families and staff.
n
Key selection criteria 2
n
Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the Victorian Early Years Development Framework, Early Years Framework and the National Quality Standards
n
Key selection criteria 3
n
Knowledge and understanding of Child Secure Standards and Mandatory Reporting requirements
