Afternoon Forklift Operator – Ongoing Opportunity

Jobwire has an ongoing opportunity for an experienced forklift operator to join a busy transport and logistics operation based in Lidcombe. The company is relocating to Kemps Creek around February/March ****, with ongoing work available.

About the Role:
n
Afternoon shift starting between 3pm–4pm, depending on availability
n
Finish around 8pm–8:30pm
n
Moving around the depot
n
Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
n
Moving freight, pallets and skids
n
Handling top-heavy cabinets and
oversized/overlength
freight ("ugly freight")
n
Strapping and securing freight
n
More unloading trailers and moving freight within the depot
n
Fast-paced, physical setting
n
Must have your own car
n
What We're Looking For:
n
Previous forklift counter-balance experience is a MUST
n




Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers
n
Experience handling freight, pallets, skids and oversized items
n
Ability to safely move top-heavy cabinets and awkward/oversized freight
n
Reliable and physically fit
n
Available for ongoing afternoon shifts
n
Own reliable transport is essential
n
Relocation:
