NSW Ultimate Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a Tiling Estimator to join our growing team in Blacktown, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our business operations. As a Tiling Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates and project assessments that directly impact our competitive positioning and profitability. You will work on-site and in the office, liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure all tiling projects are accurately priced and resourced from the outset.

What you'll be doing

Conducting site visits and assessments to evaluate tiling project requirements and scope
n
Preparing detailed cost estimates and quotations for residential and commercial tiling projects
n
Measuring and calculating material quantities required for various tiling applications
n
Liaising with clients to understand project specifications, timelines and budget requirements
n
Consulting with project managers and tradespeople to ensure estimates are realistic and achievable
n
Utilising estimation software and industry-standard tools to produce professional quotes
n
Maintaining accurate records of all estimates and tracking conversion rates
n
Identifying cost-saving opportunities whilst maintaining quality standards
n
Staying current with material pricing, labour rates and market trends
n
Supporting the sales team with technical information and clarification on project details
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Proven experience working as a tiling estimator or in a similar estimating role within the building trades, ideally 3+ years
n
Solid knowledge of tiling materials, installation techniques and industry best practices
n




Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office applications
n
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, tradespeople and colleagues
n
Sound understanding of construction costs, labour rates and supplier pricing
n
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
n
Preferred: Trade qualifications or formal training in tiling or construction
n
Preferred: Experience with popular estimating software such as eTakeoff, Buildots or similar platforms
n
