An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join a well-established organisation on a critical payroll project. This is a hands-on role requiring a payroll professional who can provide technical expertise, hands-on processing, support the broader payroll function, and lead a team through a busy project period.

Key Responsibilities
n
Lead and support a payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
n
Manage end-to-end payroll operations across a large employee base.
n
Interpret and apply Awards, Enterprise Agreements and relevant payroll legislation.
n
Review payroll reconciliations and ensure compliance requirements are met.
n
Resolve complex payroll queries and escalations.
n
Support payroll project initiatives,



process improvements and system-related activities.
n
Collaborate with key stakeholders across HR, Finance and Operations.
n
About You
n
Proven experience in a Senior Payroll Specialist, Payroll Team Leader or Payroll Manager position.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and support a payroll team.
n
Robust understanding of payroll legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
n
Experience managing high-volume and complex payroll environments.
n
Excellent reconciliation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
PeopleSoft experience will be highly regarded.
n
Available to commence immediately or on short notice.
n
