We are currently seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Metal Machinist to join our manufacturing department in Griffith NSW. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Study and read drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations and machine settings
n
Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts to produce machines and equipment
n
Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools in machines and presses, and setting controls for machines
n




Forming metal stock and casting to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
n
Cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
n
Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machine, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
n

Skills & Abilities
n
n
Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical trade
n
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field
n
Experience with beams lines and plasma plate cutting
n
n
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Full time Position available Application opens on 10th of August **** and closes on 10th of September ****.
