Expanding and consolidating our team of Electrical Design Engineers, we are now looking for an Experienced Electrical Design Engineer – AS****/ Body Corporate/ Building Services with these professional skills and attributes:
n
Reports to: Director (AS****/ Body Corporate/ Building Services)
n
The Responsibilities:
n
The responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to: -
n
n
Liaising and meeting with clients and other key stakeholders,
n




Completing Electrical design calculations, including maximum demand as well as cable sizing and selection.
n
Completing concept and detail designs of Electrical systems including lighting, power, communications, fire detection, data and security systems,
n
Provide technical support and assistance to project drafting personnel,
n
Review of customer specifications and drawings and provide technical assistance in the development of quotations and proposals
n
Site inspections for compliance with designs and relevant standards.
n
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n
An Australian tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
n
Professional membership with Engineers Australia
n
Proven and established record of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
n
Strong communication, report writing and documentation skills
n
Well-developed computer software skills – Autodesk and AutoCAD.
n
n
