Mechanical Fitter - MIG Welder Fabricator

Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as a Employment Business on behalf of our Clients in the Ipswich, Stowmarket, Eye, Diss, Thetford areas.
n
We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar Welding Fabrication roles depending on applicants skill sets & experience.
n
Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator Welders will be more involved with fabrication work on plate, angle box plus welding work with MIG mainly ideally able to weld TIG.
n
Also mechanical fitting work on plant & machinery.
n
Sheet Metal Fabricator Welders & Welder Fabs working on the fabrication from engineering drawings & welding angle, box, tube to high spec finish. Welders TIG mainly working mainly on welding sheet metal 1.5 - 4 mm stainless or mild steel, ali, mild steel angle, box ideally able to weld pipe & tube with TIG or MIG.

Also semi skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set

Quals/Skills = Able to fabricate & weld with MIG mainly & some TIG depending on skills levels, or weld with MIG and some TIG
n
Ideally C & G or NVQ Welding Fabrication or Sheet Metalwork
n
Ideally - Use Tube Bending Machine & Press Brake & other Work Shop Machinery & Tools
n
Hours = **** to **** or ******* to 50 hours Mon to Fri as required
n
Also **** or **** to **** Sat as required
n
Perm =
n
Term = Temp Contract 6 to 13 weeks & Temp to Perm 13 weeks with positive chance of perm role after 13 full weeks
n
Perm = May be some direct perm roles if the applicant is working and has to give notice
n
Pay Perm = £16 + per hr basic 40 hrs plus overtime rates
n
Pay Temp Contract = £***** + per hr up to 60 hrs £23 + per hr Sat Depending on Skills/Quals
