Job Description
Our client is a leader in professional services and consulting, providing a wide range of services including strategy, consulting, technology and systems integration, and operations to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Utilities and more.

About the role:
n
This project will establish enterprise-standard solutions as core patterns for services and maintenance business processes, thereby supporting improved competitiveness in future bid opportunities and enabling consistent, repeatable practices for contract execution.
n
The core future-state capabilities being delivered are in Source-to-Pay (Guided requisitioning, Catalogue Management and Supplier Relationship Management) and Service & Asset Management (Asset Service and Works Management, service order creation, Fiori User Experiences, and Scheduling and Dispatch) domains.
n
Delivery of single panes of glass for two key stakeholder groups to improve user experience and event orchestration for field workers and the Operations Centre is also in scope.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead complex SAP projects and programs from initiation through to successful deployment and hypercare
n
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
n
Ensure project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria are clearly defined and achieved
n
Manage project dependencies across business, technology, and third-party vendors
n
Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and impediments.
n
Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP solutions.
n
Oversee system integration, data migration, testing, cutover, and deployment activities.
n
n
Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain solid relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
n
Facilitate steering committee meetings and project reporting
n
Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused communications.
n
Manage stakeholder expectations and secure agreement on priorities, scope, and outcomes.
n
n
Governance & Risk Management
n
n
Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
n
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.
n
Provide accurate and timely reporting on project performance, financials, and delivery status.
n
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.Lead resource planning and allocation across internal and external teams.
n
Drive operational transition and handover to support teams.
n

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Required Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
n
Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience delivering enterprise-scale technology programs.
n
Minimum 5 years managing SAP implementation or transformation projects.
n
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and system integrators.
n
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery best practices.
n
Preferred PM and Agile delivery Certified
n
SAP Activate Project Manager Certification (preferred, not essential)
n
n
Location and Contract Term
n
This role is based in Sydney
n
8-Moonth Contract duration with likely extensions.
n
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
