As LPE continues to expand its footprint and growth strategy we're seeking an experienced Commercial Risk & Governance Manager to lead and strengthen our governance, risk, compliance and safety frameworks while supporting sustainable business growth.
n
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this is a highly visible leadership role that works closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board Governance, Risk & Compliance Committee to protect and enhance LPE's license to operate.
n
About the Role
n
This role serves as LPE's independent governance, risk and assurance function, ensuring strong compliance, operational integrity and effective risk management across the business.
n
You will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, strengthening governance frameworks and driving continuous improvement across a dynamic and growing organisation.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead LPE's governance, risk, compliance and safety frameworks.
n
Ensure regulatory compliance and manage key industry stakeholder relationships.
n
Maintain enterprise risk management processes and governance reporting.
n
Drive safety performance through the Beyond Zero Harm framework.
n
Provide commercial assurance and risk-based advice to support growth.
n
Champion continuous improvement across the business.
n
n
About You
n
You are an experienced governance, risk or compliance professional with the ability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels.
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Demonstrated experience in governance, risk management and regulatory compliance within a regulated industry.
n
Strong understanding of legislative interpretation and regulatory change management.
n
Experience developing and managing risk frameworks and compliance programs.
n
Exposure to Executive and Board-level governance processes.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
n
Sound commercial judgement and a practical approach to managing risk.
n
Degree qualifications in Business, Governance, Risk, Management or a related discipline.
n
Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field.
n
Experience within the energy, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
n
