Agile Delivery Manager – ICT Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Managerto provide strategic delivery leadership across a major business and technology transformation program.
n
This is a senior, program-level role suited to someone who can lead multiple Agile teams, coach Iteration Managers, establish new delivery teams and work closely with senior program leadership to drive successful outcomes across a complex ICT environment.
n
The Role
n
You will be responsible for:
n
Providing leadership and oversight to Iteration Managers and cross-functional delivery teams.
n
Ensuring team delivery roadmaps align with broader program priorities and strategic objectives.
n
Establishing new Agile teams through Sprint 0 activities and providing transitional delivery leadership.
n
Acting as a key strategic support to the Program Director and broader program leadership.
n
Coaching Iteration Managers and Agile teams to improve Agile delivery practices and team performance.
n
Developing and delivering Agile training and capability-uplift initiatives.
n
Facilitating program-level Agile ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums, retrospectives and planning activities.
n
Managing program-level risks, dependencies, impediments and delivery issues.
n
Supporting workforce and resource planning across multiple delivery teams.
n
Maintaining oversight of release plans and the overall program delivery roadmap.
n
Driving a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
n
Supporting program reporting, metrics, governance and ICT assurance requirements.

About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n




Extensive experience as an Agile Delivery Managerwithin large or complex ICT transformation programs.
n
A minimum of 5 years' experiencein Agile project management, delivery management or related roles.
n
Demonstrated experience leading multiple cross-functional teams at a program level.
n
Solid practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
n
Experience coaching and mentoring Iteration Managers, Scrum Masters or Agile delivery teams.
n
Proven experience facilitating program-level ceremonies such as Scrum of Scrums, retrospectives and Big Room Planning.
n
Strong experience managing complex risks, dependencies and delivery impediments.
n
Experience working across business-led ICT programs involving multiple concurrent projects.
n
Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
n
Excellent senior stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
n
Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution and organisational capability.
n
The ability to operate effectively within complex, fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
n
Highly Desirable
n
Advanced Agile certifications such as:
n
PMI-ACP
n
