Aircraft Life Support Equipment Maintenance Technician

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Aircraft Life Support Technicians to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team. In this role you will be tasked with repair and modification of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter ALSE suite.

The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

Be able to work within a energetic team and be able to respond effectively to changing requirements

Who we're looking for
n
n
Must hold a Cert IV in Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (or equivalent).
n
A minimum of five years of military or commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
n
Maintain and manufacture soundproofing, soft furnishings and aircraft flooring (highly desirable).
n




Explosive ordnance (highly desirable).
n
Experience with ADF products and processes on larger aircraft or rotary wing platforms (desirable).
n
n
Security requirement

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.

The role is based in Townsville, with the Army's 16 Aviation Support Battalion (16 ASB).
