Job Description

o Must Have Skills: Evaluateand implement new features/functions of DB2 and associated third partyproducts.

o Extensive use of utilitiesand Performance Monitoring tools using BMC, CA and IBM products.
n
o Consultant on DB2
databaseapplications

o Knowledge of SMP/E and canprepare for and apply maintenance to a DB2 subsystem

o Engineer and execute theprocesses to upgrade and/or apply maintenance to releases / versions ofmainframe database system software, and associated third party products

We are looking for DB2 SystemsProgrammer, who will be part of a Global team responsible for
building,configuring
and maintaining the Bank's mainframe systems. Currently we arerunning the largest parallel SysPlex in the Nordic region. Our primary designgoals are service availability, efficiency and resilience, underpinned by thearchitectural principle of cloned infrastructure, system configurations andapplications. Job Responsibilities

o Maintain DSNZPARMs
n
o Implement automated disasterrecovery mechanisms for Mainframe Database subsystems and associated thirdparty
products.Participate
in allrecovery coordination activities
n
o Create & modify WLMaddress spaces for stored procedures as needed

o Database security management
n
o Backup/Recovery strategies
n
o Scalability Analysis
n
o Planning Database maintenancewindow
n
o Capacity planning
n
o Monitor and troubleshoot DB2address spaces for any potential issues
n
o Prepare and
executehousekeeping
strategies for the DB2 Catalog and Directory.

o Implement security strategyfor DB2 via RACF.
n
o Troubleshoot Level 3 DB2Database issues.

o Provide Level 3 support
totroubleshoot/resolve
system level and application problems with DB2
Databasetechnologies
and associated Third Party products –

with vendor as necessary.

o Strong experience ofinstalling, customizing and maintaining Mainframe DB2 and ISV products

o Strong experience managingQ-replication and IBM DB2 Data Analytics accelerator product suite

o Solid experience working with large datasharing SysPlex environment

o Hands-on experience of managing systemoperations, problem diagnosis, performance tuning in both system andapplication arena

o Good experience with IBM DB2Utilities, Disaster recovery and system restoration
n
o Install, upgrade and administer mainframe DB2 and DB2 relatedtools software.

o Assist with testing, implementation and installation of new orimproved systems, as well as product upgrades.

o Good knowledge on DB2 migrations and upgrades for DB2 V12.1 andV13.1 versions.

o Good Knowledge on Problem diagnosis related to DB2 and their DB2tools products.

o Strong DB2 system programming skill, DB2 recovery,



maintain systemobjects and ZPARM parameter configuration.

o Good knowledge of DB2 tools installation and upgrades for IBMutilities, Broadcom products.

o Experience in SMPE knowledge of RSU maintenance apply procedures.

o Experience in JCL, ISPF, DB2 related products, WLM and storedprocedures

o Knowledge of performance monitoring and troubleshooting DB2issues.

o Strong skill set must be needed on DB2 data sharing experience andfailover process.

o Good knowledge of Disaster recovery of DB2 systems

DR and flash copy DR.

o Interact with ticketing tool remedy, service center and otherbusiness support areas for problem escalations, resolutions, reporting andcoordination.

Shouldhave experience in Mainframe CICS and MQ environment for 10+ years.
n
Supportthe operations of the Mainframe CICS
infrastructure(CICS
& MQseries).
n
Wellversed with CICS resource definitions online(terminals, programs,bundles etc.), defining new CICS regions etc.
n
Experiencein upgrade of CICS TS from lower version to higher version.
n
Knowledgeon CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex Operations
n
Experiencein vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenance
n
CICSSSL Setup Troubleshooting
n
Wellversed with CICSPLEX Setup (CMAS), MRO region Setup and
troubleshootrelated
issues.
n
Experienceand strong knowledge as a Websphere MQSeries on z/OS v7.1 / v9.0
n
Installnew releases, apply PTFs to Webshere MQ on z/OS
n
Wellversed with MQ Clustering and MQ
Objects/Channels/Queues
n
Experiencewith upgrading IBM MQ for z/OS will be added advantage.
