We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Production Manager to join our Production team in a full time capacity. Working closely with Design, Product Development, Raw Materials and our local and international manufacturing partners, this role is responsible for managing the end-to-end production process to ensure products are delivered on time, to budget and to the high quality standards Bassike is known for.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Managing the end-to-end production process from purchase order through to delivery
n
Building and maintaining strong relationships with both onshore and offshore manufacturing partners
n
Managing production critical paths and ensuring key milestones are achieved
n
Monitoring production schedules and proactively identifying and resolving potential delays
n
Working closely with Product Development and Raw Materials teams to ensure all production requirements are met
n
Reviewing production capacity and planning with manufacturing partners
n
Negotiating lead times and supporting cost and efficiency improvements
n
Managing quality, delivery and production performance across the supplier base
n
Coordinating approvals, shipment readiness and production documentation
n
Partnering with Logistics to ensure timely delivery into the warehouse
n
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
n
Contributing to supplier performance reviews and ongoing manufacturing strategy
n

This is a collaborative role suited to someone who thrives in a quick-paced environment, enjoys building strong supplier relationships and has a proactive approach to problem-solving.

About You
n
n
Previous experience in a Production Manager role within the fashion or apparel industry
n
Demonstrated experience managing both offshore and onshore apparel manufacturers
n
Strong understanding of garment manufacturing, production timelines and critical path management
n
Excellent knowledge of factory processes, quality standards and production planning
n
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
n
Strong negotiation and communication skills
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
n
A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
n
Experience using AP21 or similar ERP/production management systems (desirable)
n
