We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to support the overall operations of our restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality qualified with strong leadership skills and a flair for exceptional customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities
n
n
Overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and consistent food and customer service standards.
n
Providing advice and organising tastings for new menu items in consultation with management and chefs.
n
Liaising with customers to plan and arrange special functions, including parties and group events.
n
Monitoring inventory levels, arranging the purchase of food, beverages and other supplies, and negotiating with suppliers where required.
n
Maintaining records of income and expenditure, monitoring cash flow, and controlling operational costs and budgets.

Collecting customer feedback regarding food and service quality and resolving complaints where required.
n
Ensuring the kitchen, dining areas and other restaurant facilities comply with relevant health, safety and hygiene requirements.
n
Interviewing, selecting, training and supervising restaurant staff.
n
Preparing weekly staff rosters and arranging replacement staff where required.
n
Monitoring staff performance, providing guidance and implementing appropriate measures to maintain service standards and a positive working environment.

Required Qualification and Experience
n
n
At least 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager
n
Diploma of hospitality management or equivalent
n
n
Required Knowledge and Skills
n
n
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
n
Outstanding organisational and management skills
n
Demonstrated ability to interview, train, and supervise staff
n
Proficiency in budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and managing stocks and supplies
n
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
n
Strong ability in customer service
n
Knowledge of food safety and health regulations, ensuring the venue meets all compliance standards
