Jotun Australia is seeking a motivated Sales Account Representative – Protective and Marine Coatings to develop customer relationships and support sales growth across Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take the next step from internal sales, trade sales, customer service or an early field-sales role. Previous coatings experience is advantageous but not essential—we provide comprehensive onboarding, product training and ongoing support.

Candidates with established account-management or relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply.

About the role
n
Based at our Berrinba office and reporting to the National Sales Manager – Marine & Protective Coatings, you will manage and develop relationships with existing customers while identifying new customers, projects and sales opportunities across Queensland.
n
With support from experienced sales and technical colleagues, you will build the product knowledge needed to understand customer requirements and recommend practical, commercially appropriate solutions.

What you'll do
n
n
Manage and grow existing customer accounts
n
Find new customers, projects and sales opportunities
n
Visit customers and project sites across your QLD territory
n
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Jotun products
n
Follow up opportunities and work towards sales objectives
n
Maintain accurate customer and sales information in Jotun's systems
n
Work closely with our Sales, Technical Service and Customer Service teams
n

You do not need to be a coatings expert. We are interested in your sales potential, customer approach and willingness to learn.

Ideally, you will bring
n

A current Australian driver licence
n
Willingness to travel throughout the allocated territory
n
Unrestricted Australian working rights
