Job Description
Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a legal counsel to join it's growing legal team. Reporting to the Legal Director, this role will involve:

Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including
transport,renewables
and resources
n
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
n
Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market
n
Providing advice on contractual dispute resolution procedures
n
n
Location: Sydney
n
The role has outstanding mentoring with the opportunity for continued growth.



It will be working across some of Australia's most significant projects and dealing with International clients.

Key Requirements
n
n
Ideally a minimum of 4 years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or In-house organisation
n
Experience in advising on complex transactions, with exposure to project delivery issues
n
In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts
n
Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts
n
Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
n
A pro-active and commercial approach to projects and work loads.
