About the role
n
As the Psychologist Team Leader, you will lead and support a small team of psychologists while maintaining a manageable clinical caseload.
n
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced psychologist who enjoys mentoring others, building a positive team culture and helping clinicians grow in confidence. You'll have the autonomy to lead with your own style while receiving support from an experienced broader leadership team.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing day-to-day leadership and support to a small psychology team
n
Mentoring clinicians and supporting their professional development
n
Providing clinical guidance and assisting with complex cases
n
Promoting a positive, team-oriented and person-centred team culture
n
Supporting high-quality clinical documentation and service delivery
n
Maintaining a manageable clinical caseload
n
Working collaboratively with other discipline leaders and senior management
n
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
n
n
About you
n
You will be a warm, approachable and experienced psychologist who genuinely enjoys helping others succeed.
n
To be considered, you will have:
n
n
General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
n
Strong clinical experience and sound professional judgement
n
Experience supporting, mentoring or leading other clinicians
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
n
A collaborative and person-centred leadership style
n
The ability to balance clinical responsibilities with team support
n
A genuine alignment with the values of a non-profit organisation
n
n
Formal leadership experience is welcomed; however, experienced psychologists who have provided mentoring, supervision or informal team support are also encouraged to apply.
n
Board Approved Supervisor status is advantageous but not essential.
n
