Our client is a well-established Australian food manufacturing business with a strong reputation in the industry. With continued investment across its operations, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of capital and operational projects across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role
n
An exciting opportunity for a hands-on Project Engineer to manage engineering and capital projects across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility through to design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
n
Manage end-to-end delivery of CAPEX and operational engineering projects
n
Develop project scopes, cost estimates, budgets and schedules
n
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
n
Oversee installation, construction, commissioning and handover activities
n
Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost control
n
Conduct risk assessments including HAZOPs and SWMS
n




Ensure projects comply with WHS, environmental, food safety and site requirements
n
Your Background
n
Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or similar
n
3+ years' experience in Project Engineering, ideally within manufacturing or food processing
n
Strong technical engineering knowledge across mechanical, electrical and/or process projects
n
Strong contractor and vendor management experience
n
Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
n
