genU is looking for an experienced State Manager Disability & Ageing to lead our services across Tasmania.

What you'll do
n
As our State manager Disability & Ageing you'll:
n
n
Lead our Disability & Ageing services across Tasmania, setting clear direction and supporting teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients, employees and the organisation.
n
Be a trusted face of genU in Tasmania, building strong relationships with government, regulators, community organisations, advocacy groups and sector partners.
n
Balance purpose with performance, driving financial sustainability,
service improvement and thoughtful growth opportunities across the state.
n
Keep quality and the people we support at the centre, championing person-centred services while ensuring we meet our NDIS, Aged Care and broader regulatory responsibilities.
n
Lead and grow great teams, creating an inclusive, collaborative environment where people feel supported to do their best work.
n

What you'll bring
n
n
Senior leadership experience within disability services, human services, community services or a related sector, with the confidence to lead complex service delivery operations.
n
A strong understanding of the disability sector – its opportunities, challenges, funding environment, reforms and what great contemporary service delivery looks like.
n
Commercial and operational confidence, including experience with budgets, workforce leadership, performance, continuous improvement and organisational growth.
n
Strong Tasmanian connections and credibility, with the ability to build trusted relationships across government, community and sector networks.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Leadership and Management, Disability Services or a related discipline.
n
A genuine ability to bring people with you – you're an engaging communicator,
collaborative leader and confident influencer who can work across teams, communities and senior stakeholders.
n

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
