About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Sourcing Manager - Indirect to join our Procurement team and drive value across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories.

This role is responsible for managing approximately $65-$70 million in annual spend across multiple suppliers and manufacturing locations. You will lead sourcing activities across site services, engineering, capital projects, operational consumables, and co-manufacturing partnerships, ensuring procurement delivers commercial value while supporting operational excellence.

Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and external suppliers, you will influence strategic sourcing decisions, strengthen supplier partnerships, and help shape the future of procurement within Sanitarium.

Key Responsibilities
n

Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver value, savings, and operational improvements.
n
Manage a diverse indirect spend portfolio, including engineering, facilities, consumables, logistics, and business services.
n
Build robust supplier partnerships and lead commercial negotiations and contract management activities.
n
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, mitigate risk, and improve supplier performance.
n
Provide spend analysis, market insights, and recommendations to support business decision-making.
n
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, standards, and audit requirements.
n




Partner with operational and leadership teams to understand business needs and deliver sourcing solutions.
n
Support procurement transformation, continuous improvement, and sustainability initiatives across the business.

About You
n
You are a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives on building strong relationships, negotiating win-win outcomes, and identifying opportunities to create value.
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain roles within FMCG, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or related environments.
n
Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
n
Experience managing supplier contracts and strategic supplier relationships.
n
Ability to analyse spend data and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
n
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.
n
Understanding of maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing environments.
n
Excellent organisational, project management, and communication skills.
n
Experience using ERP and procurement systems such as SAP.
n
Degree qualification in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
n
Experience managing engineering, capital projects, facilities, or indirect procurement categories.
n
Knowledge of contract management and commercial agreements.
n
Experience with Power BI, spend analytics, and digital procurement tools.
n
Understanding of logistics, freight, and Incoterms.
n
