Electrician / Solar & Battery Installer
n
Solana Energy is looking for a qualified electrician to join our growing team.
n
We specialise in premium residential solar, battery and EV charging installations across Newcastle, the Hunter and Central Coast.
n
Whether you're already experienced in solar and batteries or you're an electrician looking to break into the renewable energy industry, we'd love to hear from you.
n
Solar and battery experience is preferred but not essential. We are willing to train and invest in the right electrician and will cover all required industry qualifications and accreditations.
n

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Install, test and commission residential and commercial solar PV systems.
n
Install and commission battery storage systems and EV chargers.
n
Conduct site assessments and identify electrical requirements.
n
Perform fault finding, maintenance and repairs on existing systems.
n
Ensure all installations comply with Australian Standards and industry best practices.
n
Complete testing and commissioning documentation.
n
Educate customers on the operation of their systems.
n
Work closely with apprentices, roofers and fellow electricians.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement and help maintain Solana's high standards of workmanship and customer service.

What We're Looking For
n
n
Current NSW Electrical Licence.
n
Strong electrical installation and fault-finding skills.
n
Ability to work safely and efficiently.
n
Great communication and customer service skills.
n
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.




n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Valid driver's licence.
n
Pride in producing quality work.
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
SAA Solar Accreditation.
n
Battery Accreditation.
n
Solar and battery installation experience.
n
Experience with EV charging systems.
n
n
Don't Have Solar Experience?
n
No problem.
n
