Job Description
As the Production Support Manager at Parratech, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing operations are fully supported to achieve protected, efficient, and on-time production. This role oversees production planning, configuration control, factory processes, resource coordination, continuous improvement, manufacturing project managers, materials availability, and cross-functional communication to maximise operational performance.

The Production Support Manager works closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project Management teams to remove operational constraints, improve productivity, and deliver customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support
n
n
Support daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets.
n
Identify and remove production bottlenecks.
n
Monitor workflow and optimise resource allocation.
n
Assist supervisors in resolving operational issues.
n
Ensure production readiness through effective planning.
n
n
Production Planning
n
n
Coordinate manufacturing priorities with Project Managers.
n
Review production capacity and resource requirements.
n
Manage workflow across fabrication, assembly, fit-out, and dispatch.
n
Ensure alignment between manufacturing plans and customer delivery dates.
n
n
Supply Chain & Materials
n
n




Work closely with Procurement to ensure material availability.
n
Improve material flow throughout manufacturing.
n
Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
n
Conduct process reviews and identify improvement opportunities.
n
Implement Kaizen events and process improvements.
n
Improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
n
Reduce waste, rework, and non-value-added activities.
n

Operational Performance

Monitor key performance indicators including:

Safety performance
n
Labour productivity
n
Schedule adherence
n
On-Time Delivery (OTD)
n
Manufacturing efficiency
n
Quality defects
n
Rework
n
Downtime
n
Cost performance
n
Capacity utilisation
n
Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
n

Quality Management
n
n
Support quality assurance activities.
n
Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures.
n
n
Health, Safety & Environment
n
n
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation.
n
Participate in risk assessments.
n
Lead incident investigations where required.
n
Promote continuous improvement in safety performance.
n
n
