Design & Buildare seeking a Contract Administrator / Project Managerto join a well regarded residential builder delivering high-quality, architecturally designed homes across Melbourne.
n
With a strong reputation for the calibre of their work and an exciting pipeline ahead, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator or Project Manager looking for a hands-on, commercially focused role within a close-knit team.
n
The role will suit someone looking to step up into Project Management, as well as an experienced PM who enjoys being involved across both the commercial and delivery sides of a project.
n
You'll work across bespoke new builds, renovations and extensions valued up to $5m, with the opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute across the full project lifecycle.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with and take ownership of high-end residential projects across time, cost and quality.
n
Manage contracts, variations, progress claims,



procurement and project documentation.
n
Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
n
Work closely with Site Managers to coordinate project delivery and resolve issues.
n
Assist with programming, budgets, forecasting and cost control.
n
Attend project and site meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
n
n
About You
n
n
5+ years' experience within residential construction.
n
Currently working as a Contract Administrator, Project Manager or Junior PM.
n
Experience with high-end or architecturally designed residential projects, ideally $3m+.
n
Strong commercial and technical understanding of the construction process.
n
Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
n
A proactive, cooperative approach and passion for the high end sector.
n
