This is a rare opportunity for an experienced commercial finance leader to join a global business in a highly visible role, partnering with executive leaders to influence strategy, operational performance and long-term investment decisions across a national operation.

This is a highly visible role where you'll provide strategic financial leadership, influence operational decision-making and drive long-term commercial performance across a multi-site business. You'll lead a small finance team while partnering closely with senior operational leaders to shape strategy, optimise performance and support major investment decisions.

The Role

Act as the trusted finance partner to senior operational leadership, providing commercial insight and strategic decision support.
n
Lead the financial strategy for a complex national operation, driving sustainable performance improvements.
n
Develop business cases, capital investment proposals and financial models to support operational transformation, automation and long-term investment decisions.
n
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, optimise labour models and enhance overall operating efficiency.
n
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across the business.
n
Deliver insightful weekly and monthly reporting, translating financial and operational performance into clear commercial recommendations.
n
Lead,



coach and develop a high-performing finance team across both local and offshore resources.

Maintain strong financial governance, controls and compliance.
n

About You
n
n
CA or CPA qualification.
n
10+ years' finance experience, including at least 5 years leading teams.
n
Solid commercial finance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, logistics or another operationally intensive environment.
n
Demonstrated experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders.
n
Advanced financial modelling, business case development and investment analysis skills.
n
A track record of driving process improvement, reporting enhancements and commercial outcomes.
n
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
n
Strong leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams.
n
