Who we're looking for?
n
n
Current NSW Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain (with our support).
n
Proven experience in retail or property management, ideally across multi-site portfolios.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
n
Excellent organisational and administrative ability to manage high-volume tasks and deadlines.
n
Familiarity with tenancy systems and compliance processes; Microsoft Office proficiency.

The role
n
Join Knight Frank's national retail team as a Retail Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations, presentation, and tenant engagement for a portfolio of shopping centres throughout the Newcastle, Port Stephens and Hunter region.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Take ownership of daily retail and tenancy management across multiple centres, ensuring compliance and presentation standards.
n
Act as the primary contact for tenants, resolving queries promptly and building robust relationships.
n
Coordinate lease administration, compliance tasks (insurances, bank guarantees), and maintain accurate records.
n
Monitor rental and control arrears,



including issuing arrears letters to tenants
n
Support marketing initiatives, retailer engagement, and trading analysis to drive performance.
n
Assist in co-ordinating casual mall leasing activities
n
Partner with facilities and portfolio managers to deliver seamless operations and meet KPIs.
