We are looking for an experienced Practice & Business Operations Manager to join our multidisciplinary allied health and disability practice.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, proactive and people-focused leader to take a central role in supporting the successful operation and continued growth of our practice.
n
Working closely with the Director, you will oversee practice operations, finance, staff management, compliance, quality improvement and service development, while helping create an environment where our clinicians can deliver high-quality, innovative and person-centred care.
n
About the role
n
As Practice & Business Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice and supporting its ongoing development. Your responsibilities will include:
n
Coordinating and managing financial administration, payroll coordination, accounts receivable/payable and financial reporting.
n
Overseeing financial risk by managing budgets, tracking cash flow, and auditing billing compliance against Medicare, NDIS, and insurance frameworks.
n
Overseeing practice systems, policies, procedures and workflows to ensure smooth daily operations.
n
Collaborating with the Director to develop a business continuity plan to protect the clinic against staff turnover, data breaches or sudden market changes.
n
Support strict compliance across NDIS, Medicare, privacy,
workplace health and safety and government-funded programs.
n
Strengthen data security by ensuring clinic software, patient records, and information management support effective clinical governance.
n
Coordinating recruitment, staff rosters, performance management, training and professional development.
n
Leading risk management, incident reporting and continous quality improvement processes.
n
Reviewing & managing legal safety, including employment contracts, service agreements, and clinic leases.
n
Developing service delivery opportunities and building strong community partnerships.
n
Providing strategic support to the Director with clear risk assessments and options to unlock opportunities for safe practice growth and long-term sustainability

About you
n
You will bring:
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar business or practice management role.
n
Relevant qualification in business or practice management.
n
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
n
Strong understanding of compliance, corporate governance, and industry regulations - specifically, NDIS, Medicare and/or government-funded programs or grants.
n
Robust computer and systems skills.
n
Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot operational vulnerabilities early
n
Experience with practice management and billing systems such as Splose, PRODA, Tyro and/or Xero.
n
A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities.
n
A commitment to quality, inclusion and positive outcomes for clients, participants, families and staff.
