Their work ranges from residential and development projects requiring flood impact and stormwater assessments through to larger, more complex flood studies and infrastructure-related assignments.

The business has deliberately built a broad consulting model, where engineers gain exposure beyond one narrow technical discipline and work closely with clients throughout project delivery.

The Opportunity
n
This is a broader opportunity than a traditional Flood Modeller role. You'll remain hands-on across flooding and stormwater while taking greater ownership of projects, working directly with clients and mentoring junior engineers.

It's a good next step for an experienced engineer who wants more variety and responsibility without moving away from the technical work.

The role will broadly include:

Flooding and flood modelling
n
Stormwater assessment and design
n
Project management, broader engineering and client engagement
n
TUFLOW modelling, flood impact assessments and flood studies
n
MUSIC and stormwater assessments
n
Technical reporting and interpretation of modelling outcomes
n
Managing projects and coordinating internal resources
n
Direct client and stakeholder engagement
n
Mentoring junior engineers
n
n
About You
n
You will be a collaborative Engineer looking for a genuine long-term career move rather than simply another modelling role.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
5–8+ years' relevant engineering experience in Australia
n
Robust flooding and stormwater capability
n
Hands-on TUFLOW experience
n
MUSIC and stormwater assessment experience
n
Flood studies and flood impact assessment experience
n
Strong technical report writing skills
n
Project management and client-facing experience
n
Ability to mentor junior engineers
n
RPEQ preferred or progressing towards registration
n
