Cherubs Academy is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) to join our dynamic team in Logan Central, Queensland. As an ECT, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experience of our young students. What you'll be doing
n
Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that foster the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children in the Kindergarten room.
n
Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and aligning curriculum to support the individual needs and interests of each child
n
Maintaining accurate records, observations, and assessments to monitor children's progress and inform future planning and transitions for school the following year.
n
Collaborating with families to build strong partnerships and support the holistic development of each child
n
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre's policies, procedures, and educational programs
n
Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice
n
What we're looking for
n
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
n
Registration as an Early Childhood Teacher with the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
n
Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences for children.
n




Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and its application in an early childhood setting
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
n
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous improvement
n
A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their overall development
