1-year Position of Responsibility / ongoing teaching position
n
Teacher salary range $84,443–$126,450, plus POR 2 allowance of $6,536 per annum
n
0.6 time release
n
A Year 7–12 College of approximately 500 students in Maryborough and serving the Central Goldfields region, where staff, students and families form one connected community

ABOUT THE ROLE
n
We are looking for an inspirational Head of Year (Years *****) to lead the wellbeing, connection and engagement of our senior students in ****. This role:
n
leads a team of DELTA Mentors across Years 11 and 12
n
acts as the key point of contact for families as students navigate the VCE and VET years
n
supports VCE and VET administration and exam provisions in partnership with the Director of Learning and Innovation and VASS Administrators
n

ABOUT YOU
n
We are looking for someone who brings:
n
Current VIT registration (or capacity to attain), with a relevant teaching qualification
n
Solid understanding of the wellbeing needs of senior secondary students, and demonstrated experience in VCE/VET administration and/or leadership
n
Proven ability to lead and support a team of mentors, including giving feedback and building team culture
n
Strong stakeholder management skills, including with families, VCAA and VTAC processes
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
CONDITIONS AND SALARY
n
Per the Highview College Enterprise Agreement:
n
$84,443–$126,450, depending on level
n
POR2 allowance: $6,536 per annum
n
